The last pilots are back and the results are ready - first three today were Simon Pellissier, Julien Brung and Yoshiki Kuremoto - first woman was Klaudia Bulgakow and the winning team today was Parastick

Its been a good task today and it has changed all of the results at the last minute so, winning the 5th Event of the 2016 Paragliding World Cup is Michael Kuffer, winning Woman is Klaudia Bulgakow and the winning team is Michael Sigel, Andre Rainsford, Michael Kuffer and Meryl Delferriere - Gin Gliders

We were a bit delayed getting into HQ this morning but the pilots are all up on the takeoff and the rest of the organisation are not far behind them.

We should have news of our final task by about 10:30 - the top 6 places are only 120 points apart so there is everything to fly for today !

We are expecting strong northerly wind and quite a lot of rain tomorrow morning.

For this reason tomorrow (Friday) is cancelled

We will try for a final task on Saturday. Buses will be leaving HQ at 0800 on Saturday morning.

There will also be a large bus available tomorrow morning (Friday) at 10:00 for a touristic trip - the venue has not yet been decided

Its been a good day all round - we had 100% live tracking and live scoring today after finally solving the local network problems.

Not so many in goal today - 17 in Total - but its been a good task

Finally, we are meeting tomorrow at 07:30 instead of 08:00 - please be prompt we need to make an early start.

Its the fourth day of the event and the weather is looking pretty good. We expect the clouds to be slightly higher than yesterday so we will have more options for setting the task.

The pilots are getting into the buses right now and heading for takeoff - task news will be along at about 10:30.

A buffet dinner for all of the pilots will be held this evening starting at 19:30 in the HQ restaurant.

Another tough task today but 2 pilots made goal and one more made the end of speed section but landed just short of the goal.

Meanwhile work has been going on to resolve the network problem causing our tracking to fail and we think we have now fixed it - fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Day 3 has arrived and, sorry to say, we are still not able to get our live trackers to work correctly. The pilots and the organisation are now on the way to takeoff and we should have task news in about 2 hours.

It was a tough task today and, in the end, nobody made the goal. Maximum distance reached was 35.14km. The final pilots are now back and the results are available online.

Day 2 is here and the skies are clear and sunny. The pilots all left for takeoff at 8:00 and the rest of the organisation are now on the way.

Unfortunately we still have some ongoing problems with the networks here in Reunion - the team at Flymaster are working on a solution but we don't have anything ready for this morning so we expect the tracking to be poor today.

As soon as we have any more news it will be published here - task details should be along soon.

The final pilots are now back and the scores are ready. Apologies for the poor quality of our live tracking today - we have an issue with one of the cellular networks here in Reunion. We are working hard to try and fix it but its a tricky problem.

In the end we had 75 pilots in goal so the goal field was pretty busy.
