It was a day of blue skies and little puffy clouds, beautiful conditions, great thermals.
For those who got low, even climbing out was stunning amongst spectacular rock teeth with the wind being channelled round them in every direction, making the flying very technical at times.
After the turn point in Pancas Michael Sigel, Andy Tallia, Yassen Savov and Manuel Quintanilla pulled away and managed to take the lead. They worked well together helping each other to optimise their glide.
Yassen did what he usually does, except that this time it worked. With an even bigger grin than usual, mega happy to have won the most beautiful task so far. In Yassen’s words, ‘I just love winning epic tasks.’
There can only be one winner in the scores, but everyone who flew today scored great views and a day to remember.
