Monjolo, ASL: 720m and AGL: 660m | the launch is inside a horseshoe valley, one of the many spines on a mountain chain that averages 1000m ASL. The flats all around launch are on average 200ASL, and 100km flights are easy swith E,NE,N, with NW and SE being a bit more challenging.
How to get to launch: The flying site is located 20km from town. To get there, go to the town’s highway round about (point of entrance) towards the town of Itaguaçu, until you see a sign on the right side of the road about 12km later (there will be a small sign). From there it is 8km to launch on a dirt road, also with proper signage.
Take off: 200m wide for multiple take offs.
Landing: official landing is next to the bifurcation that gives access to the dirt road.
Best season: December to July.
