The day was not quite as thermic as we thought. The pilots put up a brave struggle but, in the end, nobody made it to the goal.

Its the final day here in Hexigten, China and the forecast looks to be improving. We are hoping for a good final task to finish the event.

Everyone is on the way to takeoff now and we expect task details at about 13:00.

Its amazing that we managed to get a task in at all - shortly after everyone landed a massive storm came out of nowhere and soaked the whole area.

Day 3 is upon us and the sky is clear blue, no clouds yet and a medium northerly wind. We expect the task to be similar to yesterday but it is quite possible that we may be setting an elapsed time task

This is where pilots can take the start line whenever they like and they are scored from the moment they cross the line (this can be very difficult to follow on Live Tracking because you have no idea when the pilot started)

What a day - lots of pilots dropped out really early but two fought on all the way to the goal. Everyone is now back at HQ.

It is the first task day in Hexigten, China for the first ever event of the Paragliding World Cup Asian Tour. The briefing was held at 08:45 and all of the pilots and staff are now on the way to takeoff.

As soon as we have news of a task it will be published here and all of the links to Live Tracking etc will be displayed.

The brand new Paragliding World Cup Asian Tour has begun in Hexigten, China today. Registration was completed this morning and today has been a training task to allow the pilots to get some understanding of how the Paragliding World Cup runs competition tasks.

There is an opening ceremony happening right now and the first of 4 competition task days begins tomorrow morning.
